The Crosstab model is included in the econometric models component of the PollyVote forecast. It currently predicts a two-party vote share of 38.2% for Clinton, and 61.8% for Trump in Nebraska. In comparison, on October 31, Clinton was predicted to end up with only 37.8% of the vote.
Putting the results in context
Single models can contain substantial biases, and should be treated with caution. Rather, one should examine how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
Comparison to the combined PollyVote
The latest PollyVote forecasts Trump to gain 59.9% of the two-party vote in Nebraska. PollyVote currently predicts Trump to gain 1.9 percentage points less compared to the results of the Crosstab model.
