The Crosstab model is included in the econometric models component of the combined PollyVote. According to the model, Clinton will obtain 53.2% of the two-party vote share in Pennsylvania, whereas Trump will end up with 46.8%. In comparison, on October 29 Trump was predicted to obtain 46.7% of the vote.
Putting the results in context
Single models may contain large errors, which is why they should be interpreted with caution. At least, one should check how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
Comparison to the combined PollyVote
The latest PollyVote forecasts Clinton to gain 54.0% of the two-party vote in Pennsylvania. PollyVote currently predicts Clinton to gain 0.8 percentage points more compared to the results of the Crosstab model.
