KSN News/SurveyUSA poll results
Of those who responded, 36.0% said that they would vote for former First Lady Hillary Clinton, while 47.0% said that they would give their vote to businessman Donald Trump.
The poll was conducted from July 8 to July 11 with 559 likely voters.
Putting the results in context
Individual polls often contain large biases, and should be interpreted with caution. Rather, one should examine how a poll's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
For the following analysis, we convert Clinton's and Trump's raw poll numbers into two-party vote shares. The respective figures are 43.4% for Clinton and 56.6% for Trump. In the most recent KSN News/SurveyUSA poll on August 7 Clinton received 47.0%, while Trump received only 53.0%.
The poll in comparison with PollyVote's prediction
The current PollyVote expects Trump to gain 56.9% of the two-party vote in Kansas. This means that the PollyVote forecast is 0.3 points above his polling numbers.
