The Crosstab model provided an updated prediction of the election outcome. The model currently predicts a two-party vote share of 41.2% for Clinton, and 58.8% for Trump in Louisiana.
Putting the results in context
Individual models often incorporate substantial errors, which is why they should be treated with caution. At least, one should check how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
Results compared to the combined PollyVote forecast
The current PollyVote expects Trump to gain 58.5% of the two-party vote in Louisiana. PollyVote currently predicts Trump to gain 0.3 percentage points less compared to the results of the Crosstab model.
