The Crosstab model is part of the econometric models component of the combined PollyVote forecast. It currently predicts a major vote share of 54.9% for Clinton, and 45.1% for Trump in Minnesota. In comparison, on October 27 Trump was predicted to achieve 44.9% of the vote.
Putting the results in context
As a general rule, however, a good strategy is to not have too much faith in the results of single models, as they often contain large errors. At the very least, one should examine how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
Results compared to the combined PollyVote forecast
The current PollyVote expects Clinton to gain 55.3% of the two-party vote in Minnesota. The results of the Crosstab model for Clinton are thus 0.4 percentage points below the combined PollyVote in Minnesota.
