The Crosstab model is included in the econometric models component of the PollyVote. It currently forecasts a major vote share of 39.9% for Clinton, and 60.1% for Trump in Arkansas. In comparison, on October 27, Clinton was predicted to collect only 39.4% of the vote.
Putting the results in context
Single models should be interpreted with caution, as they may contain substantial errors. At least, one should examine how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
The Crosstab model in comparison with PollyVote's prediction
The most recent PollyVote predicts Trump to gain 58.4% of the two-party vote in Arkansas. The results of the Crosstab model for Trump are thus 1.7 percentage points above the combined PollyVote in Arkansas.
