The Crosstab model released an updated forecast of the election result. It currently forecasts a major vote share of 43.1% for Clinton, and 56.9% for Trump in Alaska. In comparison, on October 26, Clinton was predicted to end up with only 42.4% of the vote.
Putting the results in context
In general, however, one should not have too much faith in the results of single models, because they sometimes contain large errors. At least, one should examine how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
Comparison to the combined PollyVote
The latest PollyVote predicts Trump to gain 56.8% of the two-party vote in Alaska. PollyVote currently predicts Trump to gain 0.1 percentage points less compared to the results of the Crosstab model.
