Kentucky: Crosstab model shows Trump in the lead
The Crosstab model enters the econometric models component of the combined PollyVote. The model currently predicts a major vote share of 37.8% for Clinton, and 62.2% for Trump in Kentucky.
Putting the results in context
As any other method, models are subject to bias. As a result, one should not be overly confident the results of a single econometric model. At least, one should check how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
Results compared to the combined PollyVote prediction
The latest PollyVote predicts Trump to gain 61.5% of the two-party vote in Kentucky. PollyVote currently predicts Trump to gain 0.7 percentage points less compared to the results of the Crosstab model.
