The Jerome model released an updated prediction of the election result. The model currently forecasts a two-party vote share of 54.3% for Clinton, and 45.7% for Trump in Vermont. In comparison, on October 12 Trump was still predicted to obtain 45.8% of the vote.
Putting the results in context
Individual models should be regarded with caution, since they may contain substantial biases. Rather, one should examine how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
