Kansas: Jerome model shows Trump in the lead
The Jerome model released an updated forecast of the election result. It currently predicts a major vote share of 43.8% for Clinton, and 56.2% for Trump in Kansas.
Putting the results in context
Single models should be interpreted with caution, as they may incorporate substantial errors. Rather than relying on results from single models, we recommend to use combined models or, even better, a combined forecast that includes different methods and data.
The Jerome model compared with PollyVote's forecast
The latest PollyVote predicts Trump to gain 56.9% of the two-party vote in Kansas. The results of the Jerome model for Trump are thus 0.7 percentage points below the combined PollyVote in Kansas.
