Alaska: DeSart & Holbrook model shows Trump in the lead
The DeSart & Holbrook model published an updated prediction of the election result. According to the model, Clinton will garner 43.3% of the two-party vote share in Alaska, whereas Trump will end up with 56.7%. In comparison, on October 14, Clinton was predicted to end up with only 43.1% of the vote.
Putting the results in context
Single models may contain large biases, and should be interpreted with caution. At the very least, one should check how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.

The most recent PollyVote foresees Trump to gain 56.4% of the two-party vote in Alaska. The results of the DeSart & Holbrook model for Trump are thus 0.3 percentage points above the combined PollyVote in Alaska.
