PollyVote.Com expert survey: Trump behind by 9 points
The Pollyvote team has completed another survey of elections experts to forecast the presidential election. The experts were asked to predict the candidates’ final vote shares at the national level.
The expert survey was carried out from October 13 to October 15 with 14 academics from a variety of colleges and universities. The experts’ mean forecast is that Clinton will gain 54.7% of the national two-party vote. In the most recent PollyVote.Com expert survey on September 30 Clinton received only 52.2%, while Trump received 47.8%.
Results compared to the combined PollyVote prediction
The most recent PollyVote forecasts Clinton to gain 53.9% of the two-party vote. The expert survey result for Clinton are thus 0.8 percentage points above the combined PollyVote.
