The DeSart & Holbrook model released an updated forecast of the election outcome. It currently predicts a two-party vote share of 39.2% for Clinton, and 60.8% for Trump in North Dakota.
Putting the results in context
Individual models should be interpreted with caution, because they often incorporate substantial biases. At the very least, one should examine how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
Comparison to the combined PollyVote
The current PollyVote predicts Trump to gain 60.1% of the two-party vote in North Dakota. PollyVote currently predicts Trump to gain 0.7 percentage points less compared to the results of the DeSart & Holbrook model.
