New Jersey: DeSart & Holbrook model shows Clinton in the lead
The DeSart & Holbrook model enters the econometric models component of the combined PollyVote forecast. According to the model, Clinton will collect 59.6% of the two-party vote share in New Jersey, whereas Trump will win 40.5%.
Putting the results in context
In general, however, don't have too much faith in the results of single models, as they can incorporate large errors. At least, one should examine how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
Comparison to the combined PollyVote
The latest PollyVote predicts Clinton to gain 57.6% of the two-party vote in New Jersey. PollyVote currently predicts Clinton to gain 2.0 percentage points less compared to the results of the DeSart & Holbrook model.
