The Jerome model is included in the econometric models component of the combined PollyVote. The model currently forecasts a major vote share of 52.8% for Clinton, and 47.2% for Trump in Washington. In comparison, on August 16, Clinton was predicted to gain only 47.2% of the vote.
Putting the results in context
As a general rule, however, you should not have too much faith in the results of single models, because they can incorporate large errors. Rather, one should check how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
Comparison to the combined PollyVote
The latest PollyVote forecasts Clinton to gain 57.4% of the two-party vote in Washington. PollyVote currently predicts Clinton to gain 4.6 percentage points more compared to the results of the Jerome model.
