The DeSart model provided an updated prediction of the election outcome. According to the model, Clinton will obtain 36.0% of the two-party vote share in Kansas, while Trump will win 64.0%.
Putting the results in context
In general, however, don't have too much faith in the results of single models, as they may contain large errors. Rather than trusting the results from single models, we recommend to consult combined models or, even better, the combined PollyVote forecast that includes forecasts from different methods, each of which includes different data.
Results compared to the combined PollyVote forecast
The latest PollyVote forecasts Trump to gain 58.0% of the two-party vote in Kansas. PollyVote currently predicts Trump to gain 6.0 percentage points less compared to the results of the DeSart model.
