Vermont: DeSart model shows Clinton in the lead
The DeSart model published an updated prediction of the election result. According to the model, Clinton will collect 66.5% of the two-party vote share in Vermont, whereas Trump will win 33.5%.
Putting the results in context
Individual models can incorporate substantial errors, and should be treated with caution. Rather than relying on results from single models, one should look at combined models or, even better, the combined PollyVote forecast that relies on different methods and data.
Results compared to the combined PollyVote prediction
The latest PollyVote predicts Clinton to gain 64.5% of the two-party vote in Vermont. PollyVote currently predicts Clinton to gain 2.0 percentage points less compared to the results of the DeSart model.
