The DeSart model released an updated prediction of the election result. According to the model, Clinton will garner 36.0% of the two-party vote share in Kansas, whereas Trump will win 64.0%.
Putting the results in context
Individual models often contain large errors, which is why they should be interpreted with caution. At least, one should examine how a model's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
Results compared to the combined PollyVote prediction
The current PollyVote predicts Trump to gain 56.9% of the two-party vote in Kansas. PollyVote currently predicts Trump to gain 7.1 percentage points less compared to the results of the DeSart model.
