The DeSart model released an updated forecast of the election outcome. The model currently forecasts a major vote share of 25.5% for Clinton, and 74.5% for Trump in Wyoming. In comparison, on August 16 Trump was predicted to collect 0.0% of the vote.
Putting the results in context
Single models often incorporate substantial biases, and should be interpreted with caution. Instead of relying on results from single models, you should look at combined models or, even better, a combined forecast that includes different methods and data.
The DeSart model compared with PollyVote's prediction
The latest PollyVote expects Trump to gain 65.4% of the two-party vote in Wyoming. PollyVote currently predicts Trump to gain 9.1 percentage points less compared to the results of the DeSart model.
