Results of a new poll carried out by Alaska Dispatch/Ivan Moore were announced. The poll asked participants from Alabama for whom they will vote: Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton or Republican candidate Donald Trump.

Of those who responded, 44.0% said that they intend to vote for former New York Senator Hillary Clinton, while 49.0% said that they would give their vote to businessman Donald Trump.
This poll was conducted from January 5 to January 12, among a random sample of 651 registered voters.
Putting the results in context
Individual polls should be regarded with caution, because they can incorporate large biases. At the very least, one should check how a poll's results compare to benchmark forecasts.
