The Pollyvote team has completed another survey of elections experts to forecast the presidential election. The experts were asked to predict the candidates’ final vote shares at the national level.
The expert survey was conducted from August 29 to August 31. A total of 13 scientists from several colleges and universities responded. According to experts' average prediction, Clinton will obtain 53.5% of the major-party vote.
Results compared to the combined PollyVote forecast
The current PollyVote predicts Clinton to gain 53.4% of the two-party vote. PollyVote currently predicts Clinton to gain 0.1 percentage points less compared to the expert survey result.
