New PollyVote.Com expert survey shows Trump behind by 5 points
The Pollyvote team has completed another survey of elections experts to forecast the presidential election. The experts were asked to predict the candidates’ final vote shares at the national level.
This expert survey was conducted from July 29 to July 31, among a random sample of 12 academics from a variety of colleges and universities. The experts’ mean prediction is that Clinton will gain 52.7% of the national major-party vote.
Comparison to the combined PollyVote
The most recent PollyVote foresees Clinton to gain 53.5% of the two-party vote. PollyVote currently predicts Clinton to gain 0.8 percentage points more compared to the expert survey result.
