Who is likely to triumph in the US presidential elections at the national level? The PollyVote team asked political scientists.
This expert survey was conducted from July 29 to July 31, among a random sample of 12 academics from a variety of colleges and universities. The experts’ average prediction is that Clinton will achieve 52.7% of the national two-party vote.
Results compared to the combined PollyVote forecast
The current PollyVote foresees Clinton to gain 53.5% of the two-party vote. The expert survey result for Clinton are thus 0.8 percentage points below the combined PollyVote.
