Putting the results in context
As any other method, polls are subject to bias. Thus, as a general rule, a good strategy is to not rely too much on the results of an individual poll. Instead of trusting the results from single polls, research in forecasting recommends to consult combined polls or, even better, a combined forecast that draws upon forecasts from different methods, each of which draws upon different data.
For the following analysis, we convert Clinton's and Trump's raw poll numbers into two-party vote shares. This yields figures of 57.2% for Clinton and 0.0% for Trump.
Results in comparison to other polls
In comparison to the average results of other polls Clinton performed worse with 0.0 percentage points, while Trump did better with 0.0 percentage points. The most recent PollyVote predicts Clinton to gain 57.5% and Trump % of the two-party vote in Louisiana.
