Putting the results in context
Single polls may contain large biases, which is why they should be interpreted with caution. Rather than relying on results from single polls, forecasting research recommends to look at combined polls or, even better, the combined PollyVote forecast that relies on different methods and data.
For the following analysis, we convert Trump's and Clinton's raw poll numbers into two-party vote shares. This procedure yields figures of 92.5% for Clinton and 0.0% for Trump. To compare: 92.6% was obtained by Clinton in the NYT Upshot poll on August 15, for Trump this number was 0.0%.
Comparison to other polls
When compared to the average results of other polls Clinton performed better with 0.0 percentage points, while Trump did worse with 0.0 percentage points. The most recent PollyVote predicts Clinton to gain 57.5% and Trump % of the two-party vote in Louisiana.
