Putting the results in context
As any other method, polls are subject to bias. Thus, as a general rule, you should not have too much faith in the results of a single poll. Instead of relying on results from single polls, we recommend to rely on combined polls or, even better, the combined PollyVote forecast that uses forecasts from different methods, each of which draws upon different data.
To make the results comparable to forecasts from other methods, we translate them into shares of the two-party vote. The respective figures are 78.6% for Clinton and 0.0% for Trump. On August 15 Clinton received 80.3% in the NYT Upshot poll and Trump received 0.0%.
Results in comparison to other polls
When compared to the average results of other polls Clinton performed better with 0.0 percentage points, while Trump did worse with 0.0 percentage points. The most recent PollyVote predicts Clinton to gain 55.3% and Trump % of the two-party vote in Indiana.
