Putting the results in context
Single polls should be regarded with caution, as they often incorporate large biases. Instead of trusting the results from single polls, the best practice is to use combined polls or, even better, a combined forecast that includes forecasts from different methods, each of which includes different data.
In order to make the results comparable to forecasts from benchmark methods, we convert them into two-party vote shares. This yields figures of 3.8% for Clinton and 0.0% for Trump.
Results vs. other polls
When compared to the average results of other polls Clinton performed worse with 0.0 percentage points, while Trump did better with 0.0 percentage points. The most recent PollyVote predicts Clinton to gain 44.9% and Trump % of the two-party vote in Washington.
