Putting the results in context
Single polls can include substantial errors, which is why they should be treated with caution. Instead of relying on results from single polls, the recommended strategy rely on combined polls or, even better, a combined forecast that uses forecasts from different methods, each of which uses different data.
In order to make the results comparable to benchmark forecasts, we translate them into two-party vote shares. This procedure results in figures of 66.3% for Clinton and 0.0% for Trump.
Results in comparison to other polls
When compared to the average results of other polls Clinton performed better with 0.0 percentage points, while Trump did worse with 0.0 percentage points. The most recent PollyVote predicts Clinton to gain 62.6% and Trump % of the two-party vote in West Virginia.
