The Pollyvote team has completed another survey of elections experts to forecast the presidential election. The experts were asked to predict the candidates’ final vote shares at the national level.
The expert survey was conducted from July 29 to July 31 among 12 academics from a variety of colleges and universities. The experts’ mean forecast is that Clinton will win with 52.7% of the national major-party vote.
Results compared to the combined PollyVote forecast
Clinton has 0.3 percentage points less and Trump has 0.3 percentage points more when the results of the expert survey are compared to the combined PollyVote forecast.
