Rothschild model: Clinton tied with Trump in South Carolina
The Rothschild model enters the econometric models component of the PollyVote. The model currently predicts a tie, with both Clinton and Trump receiving 50% of the two-party vote.
Putting the results in context
Single econometric models often include large biases, and should be treated with caution. Instead of trusting the results from single econometric models, we recommend to rely on combined econometric models or, even better, a combined forecast that incorporates forecasts from different methods, each of which draws upon different data.
