Jerome model: Clinton with very clear lead in Washington
The Jerome model is part of the econometric models component of the PollyVote forecast. The model predicts that Clinton will collect 47.2% of the two-party vote share in Washington, while Trump will win 0.0%.
Putting the results in context
Individual econometric models often contain large biases, and should be treated with caution. Instead of trusting the results from single econometric models, the best practice is to rely on combined econometric models or, even better, a combined forecast that incorporates forecasts from different methods, each of which draws upon different data.
Comparison to other econometric models
When compared to the average results of other econometric models Clinton performed better with 0.0 percentage points, while Trump did worse with 0.0 percentage points.
