Wisconsin: Democrats hold clear lead in new MarquetteMarquette poll
MarquetteMarquette published the results of a new poll on March 29. In this poll, respondents from Wisconsin were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
Of those who responded, 47.0% said that they plan to vote for the Democrats, whereas 38.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted from January 21 to January 24 with 806 likely voters. Estimated have a +/-4.0 percentage points error margin.
According to other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 55.3% for the Democrat Clinton and 44.7% for Trump. The value for the democrats is identical to the average results of the other polls in Wisconsin.
