Wisconsin: Democrats hold clear advantage in latest EmersonEmerson poll
On March 31, EmersonEmerson released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Wisconsin were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
According to the results, 47.0% of respondents would vote for Clinton, while 38.0% would vote for the Republican Trump. The poll was conducted between March 20 and March 22. The sample size was 922 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-3.2 points.
According to other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 55.3% for the Democrats and 44.7% for the Republicans. The Democrats did better by 0.3 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Wisconsin.
