Virginia: New PPP (D)PPP (D) poll shows Democrats ahead
PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on March 29. In this poll, respondents from Virginia were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
Of those who responded, 49.0% said that they intend to vote for the Democrat Hillary Clinton, whereas 39.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republican Donald Trump. The poll was conducted from July 13 to July 15 among 1170 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-2.9 percentage points. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 55.7% for the Democrats and 44.3% for the Republicans.
