South Carolina: New PPP (D)PPP (D) poll shows Republicans in the lead
PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on April 5. In this poll, respondents from South Carolina were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
The results show that 42.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democrats, whereas 47.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was carried out between November 7 and November 8. The sample size was 1290 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-2.7 percentage points. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 47.2% for Clinton and 52.8% for Trump.
