RCP Average poll in Iowa: Democrats are leading
RCP Average published the results of a new poll on April 5. In this poll, respondents from Iowa were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
The results reveal that 46.5% of participants are going to vote for the Democratic party, while 41.5% said they would vote for the Republicans. The poll was conducted from December 10 to January 7 with participants. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 52.8% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 47.2% for the Republican Donald Trump.
