Results of a new poll conducted by QuinnipiacQuinnipiac were distributed on March 31. The poll asked participants from Connecticut for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
The results reveal that 47.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democratic party, while 40.0% said they would vote for the Republicans. The poll was carried out from October 7 to October 11 among 1735 registered voters. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 54.0% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 46.0% for the Republican Donald Trump.
