On March 29, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from North Carolina were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
According to the results, 44.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democrats, while 42.0% are going to vote for the Republicans. The poll was conducted between March 18 and March 20. The sample size was 843 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.4 points. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 51.2% for the Democrats and 48.8% for the Republicans.
