PPP (D)PPP (D) poll in Minnesota: Democrats are ahead
Results of a new poll carried out by PPP (D)PPP (D) were circulated on April 5. The poll asked respondents from Minnesota for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
The results reveal that 44.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democrat Clinton, whereas 39.0% said they would vote for the Republican Trump. This poll was conducted from July 30 to August 2, among a random sample of 1015 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.1 percentage points.
Other survey prognoses
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the Democrat Clinton and 47.0% for the Republican Trump. The vote share for the Democrats is 1.6 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Minnesota.
