PPP (D)PPP (D) poll in Iowa: Democrats are ahead
Results of a new poll carried out by PPP (D)PPP (D) were distributed on April 3. The poll asked respondents from Iowa for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 45.0% of respondents plan to vote for the Democrats, while 43.0% plan to vote for the Republican Party. The poll was carried out from December 10 to December 13 among 1426 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.6 percentage points margin of error. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 51.1% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 48.9% for the Republican Donald Trump.
