PPP (D)PPP (D) poll in Illinois: Republicans trail by a very clear margin
On April 5, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Illinois were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
Of those who responded, 51.0% revealed that they would vote for the Democrats, whereas 33.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from July 20 to July 21, among a random sample of 931 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 60.7% for the Democrats and 39.3% for the Republicans.
