PPP (D)PPP (D) poll in Illinois: Democrats are in the lead
On March 25, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Illinois were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
According to the results, 51.0% of participants intend to vote for the Democrat Hillary Clinton, while 33.0% intend to vote for the Republican Donald Trump. The poll was conducted from July 20 to July 21 with 931 registered voters. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 60.7% for the Democrats and 39.3% for the Republicans.
