Results of a new poll conducted by PPP (D)PPP (D) were distributed on March 26. The poll asked participants from Florida for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
Of those who answered the question, 44.0% said that they intend to vote for the Democrats, whereas 46.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was in the field between February 24 and February 25. The sample size was 1012 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-3.1 percentage points margin of error.
According to other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.9% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 51.1% for the Republican Donald Trump. The Republicans did worse by 2.4 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Florida.
