Pennsylvania: New QuinnipiacQuinnipiac poll shows Republicans trailing
QuinnipiacQuinnipiac published the results of a new poll on March 23. In this poll, respondents from Pennsylvania were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
The results reveal that 44.0% of interviewees will vote for the Democrats, while 42.0% said they would vote for the Republicans. The poll was carried out from September 25 to October 5 among 1049 registered voters. The error margin is +/-3.0 percentage points.
According to other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 51.2% for Clinton and 48.8% for Trump. The vote share for the Democrats is 0.8 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Pennsylvania.
