Ohio: Republicans with small lead in QuinnipiacQuinnipiac poll
QuinnipiacQuinnipiac published the results of a new poll on March 30. In this poll, respondents from Ohio were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
Of those who responded, 42.0% revealed that they plan to vote for the Democrats, while 44.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from February 16 to February 20 among 1539 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-2.5 percentage points error margin.
According to other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.8% for the Democrats and 51.2% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Ohio the Democrats did better in this poll.
