On March 25, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Ohio were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
According to the results, 45.0% of respondents are going to vote for Clinton, while 40.0% are going to vote for the Republican Trump. The poll was carried out from March 3 to March 4 among 1248 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.8 percentage points error margin.
Other survey prognoses
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 52.9% for Clinton and 47.1% for Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Ohio the Democrats did worse in this poll.
