PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on April 3. In this poll, respondents from North Carolina were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
The results reveal that 44.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democratic party, while 42.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was carried out between March 18 and March 20. The sample size was 843 registered voters. Figures have a +/-3.4 percentage points sampling error.
Other survey prognoses
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 51.2% for Clinton and 48.8% for the Republican Trump. The vote share for the Republicans is 0.0 percentage points over the average results of other polls in North Carolina.
