EmersonEmerson published the results of a new poll on April 5. In this poll, respondents from New York were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
According to the results, 55.0% of interviewees are going to vote for the Democrats, while 36.0% are going to vote for Party. The poll was conducted between March 14 and March 16. The sample size was 768 likely voters. Estimated have a +/-3.5 percentage points error margin.
According to other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.4% for the Democrat Clinton and 39.6% for the Republican Trump. The vote share for the Democrats is 1.2 percentage points over the average results of other polls in New York.
