New QuinnipiacQuinnipiac poll in Ohio: Republicans with small advantage
QuinnipiacQuinnipiac published the results of a new poll on March 29. In this poll, respondents from Ohio were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
Of those who answered the question, 42.0% revealed that they would vote for the Democrats, while 44.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out between February 16 and February 20. The sample size was 1539 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.5 percentage points sampling error. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.8% for the Democrat Clinton and 51.2% for the Republican Trump.
