On March 31, NBC/WSJ/MaristNBC/WSJ released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from New Hampshire were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
Of those who responded, 45.0% revealed that they will vote for the Democrats, while 44.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from January 2 to January 7 with 957 registered voters.
Other survey prognoses
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 50.6% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 49.4% for the Republican Donald Trump. The vote share for the Democrats is 3.8 percentage points over the average results of other polls in New Hampshire.
